The Challenge

La Mar is a restaurant located in Exmouth, renowned for its exceptional fine dining and gourmet cuisine.

The challenge was to enhance audience reach, drive more calls and conversions, and boost customer sales through optimized Google Ads and Google Account management.

To achieve the primary goal, we identified key challenges for La Mar, including boosting their Google reviews and creating optimized ads to maximize reach and drive the highest number of conversions through calls.

Solution

The Google Ads campaign was designed to drive calls and reservations through a Local Search Campaign with a £60 monthly budget.It targeted high-intent keywords paired with compelling ad copy that highlighted La Mar's unique offerings, included a strong call-to-action for booking. Geo-targeting focused on Exmouth and a 10–15 km radius, and call extensions were added to encourage direct calls from the ads.


Tracking and analytics focused on monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) such as call volume, clicks, and conversions to measure campaign effectiveness. Campaigns were adjusted weekly to maximize return on investment, ensuring optimal performance. This integrated strategy emphasized improving visibility, simplifying customer interactions, and leveraging social proof to enhance engagement and drive results.The key optimizations included expanding the location radius to reach a broader audience, refining the keyword strategy by updating targeted terms and adding negative keywords to minimize irrelevant clicks. Headline and image testing was conducted to identify the most effective combinations, while the call feature was carefully optimized to enhance its impact and drive more direct customer interactions.


The Google Reviews strategy focused on encouraging customers to leave reviews post-visit by producing a Google Review business card, including a QR Link to the Review Page on Google.

The Results

The campaign was highly successful, achieving a remarkable 700% increase in calls generated through the Google Account and a 100% boost in website clicks, significantly enhancing customer engagement and online visibility.

Within just two weeks of introducing the Review Cards, we successfully increased Google Reviews from 0 to 4. This positive momentum is expected to continue, with the number of reviews likely to grow over time as more customers engage with the system.

The Challenge

The Italian Store is a Deli Cafe located in Exmouth, known for it's authentic Italian food and drinks and it's delicious coffee.

The challenge was to promote the business using Google ads, to gain new customers, and to spread the word of the Italian Store locally.

To achieve this, we identified key challenges for The Italian Store. We wanted to promote to a large amount of people, locally, and we wanted to show off the authentic Italian food and drinks they sell.

Solution

The Google Ads campaign was designed to drive traffic to The Italian Store's Facebook page through a Local Search Campaign with a £70 monthly budget.We focused on reducing the average cost-per-click as much as possible because this allowed us to promote to as many people as possible. By reviewing our keywords weekly, we quickly worked out which were performing the best, for the lowest price.


We also focused on using the best quality photos of the Food and the Drinks to give potential customers a visual of how good the cuisine really is. This Ad was designed to be vibrant and attractive to catch the eye of the customer.


The Italian Store produces and sells many different products that could each be the primary focus of the ad.
Coffee, Deli Cuisine, Pasta, Cannolis, Meats, Cheeses etc.
During the first month, we tested to see which of these examples provided the most impressions and clicks, for the lowest price. We found the promoting the Deli side of the business provided us with the best results. So from there we optimised accordingly and achieved some great results.

The Results

The campaign was very successful, achieving a remarkable reaching 1300 impressions and over 90 clicks onto the Facebook page.

As we further optimise we see greater results and more customers coming into The Italian Store.
